
Based on quantitative and qualitative information recorded in destination countries, this one-year research seeks to understand the extent to which the economic downturn has influenced the decisions of vulnerable populations to undertake unsafe international migration.
The research will focus on migration to North America originating from Mexico and other Latin American countries, and migration to Europe, mainly Italy, Spain, Greece and Malta, originating from West, East and North Africa.
