RIVAF research: "Impacts of the financial crisis on health and poverty"
The research will monitor selected crisis-sensitive health and poverty indicators in 4 countries, including Colombia, Ghana, Jordan and Ethiopia. The lessons drawn from this exercise will help to shape recommendations for data collection and analysis efforts that UNFPA will be supporting in other countries. In addition, pertinent information from this analysis will serve to refine indicators and data collection methodologies that will be integrated into existing country monitoring mechanisms, such as the MDG monitoring frameworks.
