On December 3rd 2010, Global Pulse co-hosted a reception for the second Random Hacks of Kindness hackathon in New York City. Speakers included United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon; NASA Deputy Administrator Lori Garver; Alfred Spector, VP of Research & Special Initiatives, Google Inc.; Patrick Svenburg, Director of Government Innovation, Microsoft; and Joel Towers, Dean of Parsons The New School for Design.
