The ‘Big Ideas Competition for Asia Urban Issues Using Data Innovation’ is live!
The Korean MSIP (Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning) is looking for students who are passionate about solving transportation, social protection and environmental issues through data innovation.
The competition, co-hosted by UN Global Pulse, includes a grant pool of 16,000 USD which will be shared among the nine best applicants. The deadline for applications is 15th June 2015 by 12pm GMT.
We are looking for new ideas to tackle urban issues connected to social protection and welfare, transportation, and the environment.
Applications can span multiple topics and big, open or crowdsourced data. More information about the thematic areas can be found in the competition brief.
Eligibility
This call for proposals is open to currently enrolled students from across the Asia region, including students attending high schools, as well as undergraduate and graduate schools. An individual or a team of up to three students can participate in this competition and submit a proposal.
The deadline for submissions is 15th June 2015 at 12pm GMT. The winners will be announced on 29th June 2015 here on the Global Pulse website.
