Improving Data Privacy & Security in ICT4D

In May 2015, Global Pulse hosted a workshop on data privacy and security in technology-enabled development projects and programmes. The workshop was part of a series of events focused on the Principles for Digital Development (a set of  guidelines to help development practitioners integrate established best practices into technology-enabled programmes).  It included two interactive sessions on data privacy and security, followed by breakout groups focused on real-world applications and challenges related to putting Principle 8 into practice. This report presents a summary of the discussions and recommendations that emerged from the workshop.
