E-Analytics Workshop

(New York, USA) The workshop provides an overview of data analysis and the use of technology in the field of peace and security. It looks at challenges to e-analytics and the opportunities of using big data for political analysis.
The aim of the workshop, organized by the Department of Political Affairs (DPA) together with UN Global Pulse, is to equip participants with tools and methodologies to carry out open source data analysis and integrate evidence-driven analysis of peacemaking initiatives and peace operations in their regular workflow.
