The State of Mobile Data for Social Good

(New York, USA) UN Global Pulse and the GSMA, with support from the Vodafone Americas Foundation, are hosting a two-hour event on 29 June 2017 on the social good value of data derived from mobile phone usage. The event marks the launch of a new report: “The State of Mobile Data for Social Good.”
The event will kick off with a short presentation of the report and outline of recommendations it puts forth. A panel of experts from the mobile industry, development and data science community will then discuss current advantages and challenges from their sector’s perspective.
