Ethical Code: Designing and Governing Inclusive AI

(New York, USA) A recent report by the Special Rapporteur on the promotion and protection of the right to freedom of opinion and expression highlights unique social implications of AI systems, especially as they become commonplace in today’s information age. One of the ways inequalities are introduced is through algorithmic bias.

This event gathers experts in data privacy, protection, and ethics to discuss the implications of using AI technologies for the SDGs, and how institutions can address current gaps in the design and governance of AI systems.

UN Global Pulse is happy to join discussions and provide insights based on its work in data privacy, data protection and the ethics of AI.

The event will take place at the UN Secretariat (S -2725).
