Lab Jakarta is looking for an experienced Partnerships and Advocacy Lead who, under the guidance of Head of Office, will provide service and support to government counterparts and key partners utilizing PLJ’s insights and products in data innovation for inclusive economic growth.
The Partnerships and Advocacy Lead contributes to strategic planning and identifies new programme areas while ensuring consistency with the Lab’s overall priorities in line with Steering Committee guidance and ensures creative responses to emerging challenges and opportunity.
The Partnerships and Advocacy Lead will establish and strengthen key partner relationships by ensuring The Lab’s insights are well disseminated and knowledge transfer to relevant stakeholders is in place. S/he will be responsible to support and manage the outreach of PLJ to the private sector to encourage public-private partnership in experimenting with new digital data sources and for identifying opportunities to expand The Lab’s portfolio across the Asia Pacific region.
The Partnerships and Advocacy Lead manages a small team and works in close coordination with the Lab’s management. S/he ensures a consistent approach with the operations and finance teams and effective communication of the PLJ portfolio with Government officials, UN agencies and donors. The Partnerships and Advocacy Lead will work closely with a wide variety of stakeholders such as UN Agencies and Government officials, technical advisors and experts, multi-lateral and bi-lateral donors and civil society to successfully innovate with new digital data sources for development and humanitarian action in Indonesia. S/he must be a detailed oriented person, focused on the needs and goals of PLJ key partners, has strong communication skills and a team player.
