Welcome to the Pulse Lab Jakarta Internship Programme!
Our office functions as an open innovation space where policy experts together with UN development practitioners and other partners experiment with new types of data and emerging technologies for better policies. We normally work on competing tasks and priorities… there’s usually a lot of things happening at the same time at the Lab!
If you thrive in these situations, are happy to roll up your sleeves when needed and are able to juggle multiple priorities, then you are in the right place.
The most important quality we are looking for in our interns is exactly the same as for anyone else in our team: a great deal of curiosity, flexibility, adaptability, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn to do something different.
At the Lab, you will get hands-on experience to a variety of tasks and projects – from doing a lot of back-and-forth communication between the teams, drafting blog posts, helping to maintain network/partnership, to analyzing data. And granted, not all of this will always be fun, but then again much will depend on your willingness to engage. And did we mention we have an office where all the walls are whiteboards – you can write on any surface here – and as any Lab worth its name we have bean pods and you can choose where to sit!
