Pulse Lab Kampala worked to create interactive, user-friendly visualizations to present the results of the Governance and Peace Poll (GaP). The GaP poll is a nationally representative public opinion tracking survey that seeks to support UNDP-Ghana targets on issues of governance and peace.
The visualizations by Pulse Lab Kampala allow viewers to explore the data from three surveys conducted in 2014 and 2015, and easily break down the information into categories such as trends, geographical distribution and gender. Users can select the survey they are interested in, select one or more pre-defined questions, select the type of response (for example: the number of respondents who have said yes, no or maybe) and choose the region of the country they are interested in.
This project was completed in collaboration with the Government of Ghana and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
“This is a useful and interactive tool, which has given us a new and user-friendly way to share the GaP Poll results with a wider audience.” Nana Chinbuah, Programme Specialist at UNDP Ghana.
